ATCO Ltd. is engaged in structures and logistics, utilities, energy and technologies business. The company operates through the following business segments: Structures & Logistics, Utilities, Energy, ATCO Australia, and Corporate & Other. The Structures and Logistics segment operates through five divisions: Modular Structures, Logistics and Facility Operation and Management Services, Lodging and Support Services, Emissions Management and Sustainable Communities. The Utilities segment engages in the electricity distribution and transmission, natural gas distribution and transmission. The Energy segment engages in the non-regulated supply of electricity and cogeneration steam as well as the regulated supply of electricity and provides non-regulated natural gas gathering, processing, storage and transmission, natural gas liquids extraction, electricity transmission and industrial water services. The ATCO Australia segment includes the regulated distribution of natural gas by ATCO Gas Australia, the non-regulated supply of electricity and steam by ATCO Power Australia, and the non-regulated provision of information technology services by ATCO I-Tek Australia. The Corporate & Other segment includes ATCO I-Tek and commercial real estate the company owns in Alberta. ATCO was founded by S. D. Southern and Ronald D. Southern on February 14, 1947 and is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.
