Fukuda Denshi Co., Ltd. engages in the development, manufacture, and import and export sale of medical electronic equipment. It operates through the following business segments: Physiological Diagnostic Equipment, Patient Monitoring Equipment, Medical Treatment Equipment, and Consumables and Other Poducts. The Physiological Diagnostic Equipment segment develops and supplies ultrasound diagnostic systems, vascular screening systems, and blood-cell counters. The Patient Monitoring Equipment segment offers central, bedside, and integrated operating room monitors. The Medical Treatment Equipment deals with renting of medical equipment for home treatment and sale of automated external defibrillators, pacemakers, and catheters. The Consumables and Other Products segment handles recording papers, disposable electrodes, and consumables used for medical devices, as well as maintenance and repair services. The company was founded by Takashi Fukuda in July 1939 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
