PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Tbk (BTPN) is foreign exchange commercial bank. It focuses on serving and empowering the lower-income segment, which is comprised of pensioners, micro, small and medium enterprises, as well as productive poor communities. The company operates through the following business units: BTPN Sinaya, BTPN Purna Bakti, BTPN Mitra Usaha Rakyat, and BTPN Mitra Bisnis. The BTPN Sinaya business unit engages in funding business. The BTPN Purna Bakti business unit focuses on serving pensioners. The BTPN Mitra Usaha Rakyat business unit engages in serving micro enterprises. The BTPN Mitra Bisnis business unit focuses on serving small and medium enterprises, BTPN Wow! a branchless banking product, which focuses on the unbanked segment, as well as Jenius a digital banking platform for the consuming class segment. It also has a subsidiary, BTPN Syariah, which focuses on serving customers from productive poor communities. Through the Daya program, a measured and sustainable mass market empowerment program, BTPN provides training and information on a regular basis to enhance the capacities of its customers. The company was founded by Raden Ramelie Tjokroadirejo, Martua Radja Laut Siahaan, Abdul Hamid, Abdurrachman, Ibrahim Bayk, Mochamad Abdul Fatah and Raden Aju Pandamrukmi Tjokroadirejo on October 6, 1959 and is headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia.
