Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. designs, manufactures and markets orthopaedic reconstructive products, sports medicine, extremities and trauma products; craniomaxillofacial and thoracic products; dental implants; and related surgical products. The company operates through three geographical segments: America, Europe and Asia Pacific. The Americas segment comprises principally of the U.S. and includes other North, Central and South American markets. The Europe segment comprises principally of Europe and includes the Middle East and African markets. The Asia Pacific segment comprises primarily of Japan and includes other Asian and Pacific markets. Its products and solutions help treat patients suffering from disorders of, or injuries to, bones, joints or supporting soft tissues. Zimmer Biomet Holdings was founded by Justin O. Zimmer in 1927 and is headquartered in Warsaw, IN.
